    It was incredible! There was a wait because we went during the lunch rush but it was definitely worth the wait! The servers were wonderful, and the food was hot and tasted great. It was a little pricey but well worth it.

    Just because it isn't Mexican doesn't necessarily mean it's good.

    Yuck - dirty, dingy and horrible food.

    What a waste of my time and money.

    I've been to Vermillion twice now and honestly while it has a long and storied history, I'm underwhelmed.  The Tex-Mex is fair, but not exemplary in an area saturated with the cuisine. The American food I've eaten is essentially bar food.

    Service is consistently good but but not extraordinary in any way.

    If I lived close to here I would probably eat here occasionally, it is open later than most of the surrounding establishments. But I can't really suggest going far out of your way just to eat here.

    Found Vermillion on Yelp! and we are really happy that we did. The customer service is amazing (we mentioned that this is our first visit; we're not from around here). Remember to allow at least 10 minutes to read the menu.
           The. Best. Rice. Of. My. LifetimeCharro beans to match. Everything homemade daily from scratch, and free password-protected WiFi. I'm traveling with an impatient companion who is not amenable to delays, even Yelp! review posting type delays, but here is the bottom line: we live in Austin, and we will be back to Vermillion Brownsville (there is a second location in Harlingen). We will ask for Daisy, but you can't go wrong: we had amazing service from everyone.

    My family and I came in to eat for the first time this past Saturday and we arrived as they opened. Place looked clean and staff was very attentive. Food arrived quickly and was real good. Would definitely come back.
